I don't normally spend my days like an Ostrich with my head in the sand, but it seems I am out of the loop when it comes to what's going on in the news these days.
Or perhaps the gossip if not the news?
Can someone enlighten me?

I mentioned poetry recently and it got me thinking that I haven't picked up a book of poetry in several months and I thought I would share one of my favorite poems.
Fire And Ice
by Robert Frost
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great,
And would suffice.
I love that poem. I don't know why. I suppose because it means to me that no matter what we're all doomed, but maybe it isn't so bad to be doomed. Or something like that. Robert Frost was a talented man.
